Wonder Galaxy takes us “back to the future” in a journey were we become children again, but this time in a fantasy world ahead of us. This “futuristic childhood revival” is a critic to the mundane-serious and formal-world of adulthood. In this Casa Décor (2019) space, colour is the oblivious answer to recover that creative childhood energy; starting with pink, a magical alternative capable of transforming anything sober and boring into fresh and playful. This risky and colourful dressing room houses a three-dimensional reality that alludes to an Austin Powers movie were the visitor becomes the protagonist in a game of arches and asymmetric volumes that simulate infinite depth. The color gradients suggest an endless number of utopian parallel realities in which we could live if we wanted to, limitless possibilities. Fantasy colors and soap bubbles are mixed with unusual materials such as iridescent textures to create a galaxy-like atmosphere where we visualize new horizons, dream and be ourselves.
