Casa Rosa is an absolute minimal fantasy in the heart of Madrid; a hidden dreamland only two streets away from Puerta del Sol. This tunnel of time and color immerses you in a surreal world inside this 55m2 apartment to mark a pause in our daily routines. Inspired by Ricardo Bofill’s masterpiece:“The Red Wall”, a mysterious and infinite space, PBStudio has played with optical illusion, color and geometrical shapes, and continuous floorings to multiply the space. It is a house for vacation rental with a practical distribution: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living room-dining room and pure aesthetic madness, surprise, uniqueness and meaning. Furniture pieces have been exclusively designed by PBS for this space, such as the “Theresa Chair”, the “Spartable” table, the “Osadía lamp”, arches, beds, satin curtains, iridescent sheets and other recycled and ecofriendly furniture. All pieces in a colour palette of 12 shades of pink. This chose is not arbitrary, pink is the colour of a generation… the generation of the brave who are not afraid of change. Pink claims the fall of stereotypes.
