TACTO SERENO makes a tribute to the arts and crafts to enhance our senses, proposing a new concept of hotel reception. For the first time, Bathco displaces the washbasin from the bathroom to serve the public in a greeting space. Here, beauty and functionality merge in one object to arouse our leading sense: touch. In a world that is willing recover physical contact, the washbasin metamorphoses into a spring, transporting us to the beginning of our existence when we first developed that sense that produces the most pleasure.

In this space, craftsmanship is endorsed by the organic shaped furniture, walls and coverings, all hand crafted by local artisans in natural materials such as rattan, marble, Bathco ceramics, or bricks. Bathco intends to celebrate the imperfection of the artisan process, its affection, its nuances, its character and identity. Making each product, each project, each ritual unique and original, like the human being who conceived it.
